I like the section at minute 1 a lot and at 1:40. You could use the panning effect in beepbox/jummbox to even out the instruments and make the chords stand out more against the melody.

Neat! You could add another melody that's similar to the existing melody but changes at the end of each bar and harmonizes with the existing melody.
